To ensure that the documents attached to your application are the best quality possible, we advise all applicants to print and read the guidelines below.

  1. Send first generation copies of reference letters, not originals.
  2. If you make arrangements to have third parties send reference letters directly to PA-Educator.net, they must indicate both your name and Social Security Number or be accompanied by a cover sheet that lists your name and Social Security Number.
  3. Reference or recommendation letters should be typed, not handwritten, documents and signed by the author.
  4. Do not send teaching evaluation forms, student observation forms, reference lists, or similar non-reference materials. These documents will not be attached to your credentials file.
  5. By submitting reference letters to PA-Educator.net, you waive all rights to view them.
  6. The maximum number of reference letters is six (6).
  7. You can add reference letters, up to the maximum of six, to your file.
  8. You cannot replace any individual reference letters already on file; you must replace the entire set.
